The 2018 Hyundai Eon sedan rivaling the Eon is ready for an upgrade. The small sedan could not reach the desired numbers as expected. While the language of fluidic design caught the eye, the sedan was considered a bit too expensive. Currently, the Eon range is available with missing gasoline and LPG fuel options on diesel variants.
Regarding the design element, the company’s new design philosophy of fluidic sculpture 2.0 will also be visible in the new Eon facelift. The new model will feature upgraded headlights, fitted bumpers, a new grille and revised rear lights. The side profile is likely to be more or less the same as the current generation with body color ORVM and will also carry newly designed wheel caps.
The new 2018 Hyundai Eon will receive a revised upholstery in a new color combination and an improved fabric. For freshness, the new model will have a new group of instruments. This time, the biggest change in the new model comes in the form of a touchscreen infotainment system, which will likely be offered on the high-end version for this competitive element in its segment.
Under the hood, the new 2018 Hyundai Eon will continue to be powered by the existing 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter engine options that mate with a five-speed manual transmission. However, the new model could return slightly better fuel consumption figures through new design upgrades.
Scheduled to be priced between Rs 3 lakh at Rs 4.5 lakh, the facelifted version will go on sale in the first quarter of 2017.
