A new generation 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited prototype was spotted. The latest plans show a prototype for the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited, while previous hits showed a test mound for the 2-door Wrangler. Both must be revealed at the end of this year or early next, probably in 2018. The debut of the Los Angeles auto show in 2017 in November is a strong possibility.
The first thing Jeep fans will be happy to see is that the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited continues to use a solid frame with a roof and removable doors. With all the body panels in place, the Wrangler JL series looks very similar to the JK, with a similar profile. One thing you’ll notice is that there’s a vent behind the front wings, maybe to help aerodynamics. These wings are slightly different from those of JK, and we can hardly distinguish the diurnal daytime running lights from the LED light we saw in other spy shots. The front bumper is also redesigned, the fog lights resting from the center on the edges. Naturally, the seven-legged grid of Jeep is transmitted, but it seems more vertical than before. Towards the top, it recedes slightly similar to the concept of Jeep Shortcut who made his debut at the Jeep Easter Safari of last year. Just as on this concept, the headlights interferes slightly in the outer laths of the grid.
There is a new line of characters below the window that runs from the back of the A pillar, and the door handles are slightly different. The windscreen appears straighter and has different hinges to fold. At the rear, there are new rear lights, a hinged hinged hinge with hinges on the opposite side, an indentation in the rear bumper where a spare wheel would fit and the carved steps in the corners This bumper.
The new style of scooter will not be the only important change for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. A 6-speed manual should remain standard but we hear that an 8-speed radio will be available. We can also look forward to an inline 4 turbocharged engine offered alongside a V-6. And further down the track, there might even be diesel and hybrid options. A little aluminum will also be used in construction to help reduce weight and thus increase fuel economy.
