The US market is filled with awesome crossover SUV options, but from time to time, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport remains an outstanding feature. It not only offers great value for the price, but it is equipped with a generous set of high-end features.
The updated crossover features new exterior and interior enhancements as well as the addition of a new Touring Pack. Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi’s best-selling model and refreshment gives it new models of front and rear bumpers and LED traffic lights. Inside, Mitsubishi added a 7-inch touch screen audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The floor console and gear lever are also new.
Some details on the Touring package have been shared and include a panoramic roof with advanced security and technology features such as direct collision attenuation, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beam, rear camera and noise vibrations Hardness to make a quieter turn.
Two powertrains are available and include a standard four-cylinder 4-cylinder engine that produces 148 horsepower and 145 lb.-ft. Torque and a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine available that makes 168 horsepower and 167 lb.-ft. Couple.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport arrive in dealers this fall and will be available in a new exterior color, silver alloy.
