2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Review And Exterior – Volkswagen takes its humble Golf on the high-tech road by introducing some advanced features that are not normally found in the compact class. The features are part of a mid-cycle update for the seventh generation of Golf and will be available in 2017. Specifications for The United States are still to be confirmed, but in other markets, Adjustments for style, new engines and transmissions, electronic driving aids and the latest infotainment technology.
GTI The refreshment brings some slight alterations outside the Golf. All golf models now have LED taillights, with LED headlights available as an option. The front fascia features redesigned air intakes, and the chrome lower band of the radiator grille now extends through the daytime traffic lights. The SportWagen receives a new rear bumper, as well.

The other area where the updated golf excels is electronic driver assistance. The list includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, brake assist, park assist, and even trailer help. This helps the driver to pull back a trailer. All possible angles are displayed on the instrument cluster and the mirror adjustment switch, which serves as a joystick, allows the driver to freely adjust the desired direction of travel. The car takes the direction, with the driver only required to operate the accelerator and brake pedals.
2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Engine
The new Golf and GTI are both getting remarkable powertrain updates. The standard golf course now offers Volkswagen turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder with cylinder deactivation and a variable geometry turbocharger. This high-tech engine is available in two versions, one with 148 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, followed by a more powerful 128-horsepower BlueMotion variant. However, according to a VW representative, the 1.5-liter engine will not come here initially. If ever it comes here, expect VW only to worry about bringing on the 148 horsepower variant.

Volkswagen did not actually say when we can expect to see the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI but our guess would be an early 2017 debut with full production and sales going on around September 2017. Again there is a Element of speculation, but our Guess would be a minimum of $ 28,000 – $ 30,000 for the GTi base, along with a lot of options available in addition to that.
