2019 Cadillac CT9 – When Johan de Nysschen joined Cadillac in 2014, the luxury brand promised a massive assault on the premium market with new nameplates spread across several niches. Caddy has also promised new sedans that will compete with the most luxurious BMW and Mercedes-Benz offerings. In 2015, Cadillac launched the CT6, the company’s most luxurious and technologically advanced vehicle to date. Slotted over the XTS, the CT6 became the Cadillac range model, but GM’s premium division said it would not stop there, looking to create an even larger sedan. It is called CT8 and it will arrive in the showrooms for the 2019 model year.
2019 Cadillac CT9 Exterior Details
In the front, extremely thin spotlights are probably the first to be replaced by larger and more efficient LED units. These will be larger, but they will retain a similar shape that stretches well in the wings and towards the grid. The latter will probably be unchanged, but I think Cadillac goes with a more conventional look and add a chrome band between the headlights. As for the crest of the chrome, it will be replaced by the color because Cadillac changed its emblem only a few years ago and a change of brand is not necessary at this stage. Then I expect the concept and the production car to be identical. The wider and lower grid and vertical LED lights are as ready for production as they are and appear to be the definition features next to the grid of the next generation Cadillacs. In case of something, Cadillac will probably add small turn signals on each fender and add a new engine hood. By rolling on the sides, the sedan should keep its waistline pronounced, as well as the general shape of the wings and doors. The large slot at the bottom of the doors will be removed unfortunately, opening straight to a more traditional chrome strip. The side mirrors will be larger, and the dark chrome window grid will be replaced with brighter elements.
2019 Cadillac CT9 Interior Features
Inside, the 2019 Cadillac CT9 should differentiate even more from the rest of the Cadillac range with previously unprecedented luxury features and GM’s next-generation infotainment security technology and systems. A massive touch screen will probably be the highlight of a dashboard wrapped in genuine leather and wood veneer, while a smaller screen will act as a group of instruments. The four seats provide maximum comfort to the driver and passengers by including improved adjustment, heating and cooling functions, and a massage function. Naturally, the four will be packed in the best Nappa leather available in a Cadillac air-conditioning system. A high-end sound system will be standard, as well as updated versions of various technologies that have begun in the CT6. One interesting is the ability to connect a video streaming device to the car’s rear seat entertainment system to watch programs from websites such as Hulu, Netflix and YouTube. This is done via devices such as Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Apple TV. These devices communicate with the user’s smart phone or tablet via the car Wi-Fi network in the car.

2019 Cadillac CT9 Engine And Prices
Look for a double-turbo V-6 and a new 4.2-liter V-8 double turbo with nearly 500 horsepower. A hybrid plug-in will probably be offered as well. As a Cadillac range model and depending on the amount of luxury features and technology it will get, the CT8 will become the most expensive model of the company by far. A starting price of at least $ 90,000 is likely for the V-6 model, with the more powerful V-8 recovering over $ 100,000 before the options.
