2019 Porsche 718 Spyder New Interior

2019 Porsche 718 Spyder – The Porsche 718 mid-engine sports car family is fantastic, but some people still can not forget that the engine family consists exclusively of four-cylinder engines. Whether it’s the standard version, the S version or the GTS version, the 718 Boxster and the 718 Cayman are equipped with only four powertrains flat propulsion.

Considering that the latest Spyder came with 375 horsepower, as many as 400 horsepower could make it new. What is not so clear is if there will be a double clutch transmission available this time. Previously, the car was offered exclusively with a manual. Expect a 0-60 mph time to approach 4.0 seconds and maximum speed to be somewhere above 180 mph. Other upgrades will include a lowered suspension, a more aggressive aerodynamic kit with larger catches , more brakes reinforced and sharpened steering.

More changes are visible around back. 2019 Porsche 718 Spyder has redesigned the taillights and the trunk lid, the new rear lights have 3D LED technology with four-point brake lights, and a black band with “Porsche” integrated between them. The latter, however, has not been reported on the 2019 Porsche 718 Spyder. This area is now a decklid spoiler, so the band has been completely removed to make room for the aerodynamic element. The bumper is identical to the standard model, but the new diffuser distinguishes the Spyder. The two-piece element is significantly more aggressive and features a new exhaust pipe layout. While the standard Boxster has a single rectangular tip in the center, the Spyder uses two round pipes on either side of the diffuser. It’s also a big change from the old Spyder, which had a dual exhaust system in the center of the bumper.

Inside the Spyder’s cabin, we should find the same features that were introduced as new with the 2019 Porsche 718 Spyder. Look for the same dashboard with revised air conditioning vents, updated instrument cluster, and a sportier steering wheel with new spokes and a new center section. Technology department updates to the outgoing model should include a standard Porsche Communication Management system with mobile phone preparation, audio interfaces, Sound Package Plus 110 watts and a voice-activated navigation module. The Connect Plus module for access to a wide range of online services is optional on the Boxster, but it could be included as a standard feature on the Spyder version. Regarding the features that distinguish this model, be on the lookout for more sporty seats. and a slightly smaller steering wheel with a flat bottom. The radio and air conditioners will likely be removed from the standard package, but Porsche will offer them free of charge to customers who are still looking for practical features in their race-inspired sports cars.

The old Boxster Spyder was sold starting at $ 82,100 in 2015 and it is safe to assume that the new generation model will fetch more than that. With the 718 Boxster base model starting at $ 57,400, the new Spyder should earn at least $ 87,000 before the options, making it the most expensive Boxster model of all time.
