Earlier this week, we delivered a new batch of spyshots representing the 2019 Porsche Macan, with the facelifted incarnation of the crossing being spotted in his home country. While the already spiced porsch is about to be even hotter, it should not be expected that the machine will receive a GT badge.
Based on camouflage exterior of 2019 Porsche Macan as well as common sense, are new headlights / graphics, a larger spoiler lip, slightly modified front and rear bumpers. However, the biggest change could be the new taillights, which we hope will be of the “Panamera LED Strip” variety covering the entire width of the rear.
Inside of new Macan should have the latest Porsche infotainment system, as well as tactile capacitive surfaces as in the Panamera, although we had to wait until we looked inside to be sure . The interior has also been modified with a new infotainment screen and added controls.
It is not clear what Porsche has set up for Macan powertrains. One possibility is that we see a plug-in hybrid option added, which is probably equivalent to associating a V-6 with an electric motor built into the transmission. We do not expect Macan S Diesel to have offered abroad to do so, because of the retirement of the Volkswagen group against the diesels.
We still share that Porsche will wait until 2018 to launch this car, thus completing a four-year cycle – as was the case with the current generation Cayenne between the facelifts.
