Renault wants more Australia. The French brand has underperformed for years on the local market, and if it wants to improve, the most popular vehicle segment in Australia is a great place to start. Aggressive pricing of the Mégane and offers an unlimited guarantee of five years. The introduction of the Fluence, one of the largest small cars in the segment, is another. Indeed, the Renault Fluence is a Mégane with a boot although the first is built in South Korea and the second in Turkey. Now, normally adding a boot to a hatchback makes little difference in the driving experience. But one way or another, with 2019 Renault Fluence, it made it better.
Renault Fluence Design
Although the Renault Fluence Z.E. perhaps new to the UK, the design itself has been around Europe for quite some time now and it’s starting to show its age. Renault did its best to manufacture the Fluence Z.E. futuristic look with blue tinted badges and outside trims but it’s not a particularly exciting design. To equip the large battery, the engineers had to stretch the body of the Fluence, which gives it a slightly elongated look.
Inside the cabin, you are greeted by an interior that feels functional and well constructed. The dashboard is covered with soft plastic and there is also a good range of equipment. The changes on the combustion car include Z.E. badging on the dashboard and new dials showing the battery charge and the use of energy. The rear seats are where you will find the biggest interior physical difference between the two cars, with extra legroom provided by the longer wheelbase. There is also more space for the shoulders – almost 30mm more, according to Renault’s measurements.
2019 Fluence Engine
The engine trends are represented by three units: two diesel (DCI) 110 hp and 130 hp and a gasoline (new engine fully redesigned 1.6 liter for 115 horses, working in tandem with X-Tronic CVT is also a new generation).
The 2019 Renault Fluence Privilege is also equipped with a sunroof, a dual-zone climate control, a Bluetooth phone and music streaming, CD / MP3 (the stereo is excellent), keyless start, headlights and wiper – Automatic windows, six airbags and stability control. A Dynamic variant, with fewer features, is available from $ 22,990 with a manual gearbox
